Do i patronize people? According to the dictionary, to patronize someone is to adopt a condescending attitude towards a person. But is it always a bad thing to patronize somebody? An adult talking to a toddler in baby-speak, Or an adult telling their children that babies come from a stork can be said as patronizing as well, but it is for their own good right? How else would you explain the human reproductive process to a 7 or 8 year old?
I feel that sometimes i do patronize, and the only reason i do this is because i do not know what else to say. Though i am not an introvert, i often feel a lack of enthusiasm to speak to others or socialize. Am i having withdrawal symptoms? What is happening to me?
Help me, for i am becoming lost.
